The perfect weather set the stage for an awesome weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC.  The night was cold but clear, and Saturday warmed up to the high 60s during the day with barely a cloud in the sky.  Morning practice was uneventful and the car felt good.  The track was pretty well cleaned off from the sessions the previous day, and gained grip as the sun warmed the surface.  Qualifying was busy, and the traffic prevented me from posting a good time.  It didn’t bother me though; I knew it would just be more fun having people to race against as I made my way through traffic that afternoon.
